“That Guy, Is He Really Sick at All?” An Analysis of How Veterans with PTSD Experience Nature-Based Therapy

This study demonstrates that nature-based therapy, including horticultural activities and therapeutic talks in a forest garden, can significantly improve the well-being of veterans with PTSD by alleviating physical symptoms, enhancing social connections, and fostering a new sense of identity and hope. The long-term positive effects suggest that NBT should be considered as a beneficial addition to conventional PTSD treatments for veterans.
