    Building upon the foundational knowledge provided in the introductory course(s), this course dives deeper into advanced techniques, specialized applications, and nuanced approaches in therapeutic horticulture. Taught by Katie McGillivray, HTR, along with guest speaker experts in the field, this course includes both self-paced and virtual live elements. Students will complete the course, including a capstone project, in their chosen two-month period.  Drawing upon real-world scenarios and examples from Root in Nature’s Activity Database, this practical course ensures participants gain hands-on experience and practical insights transferable to their career goals. Graduates who meet all requirements will be eligible for certification as a Certified Therapeutic Horticulture Facilitator (CTHF™).
