Combating Horticultural Misinformation through Integrated Online Campaigns Using Social Media, Graphics Interchange Format, and Blogs

This research found that an integrated online campaign using social media, animated GIFs, and blog posts can effectively combat horticultural misinformation by connecting a large audience to research-based information. Although social media wasn’t the main driver of traffic, it significantly contributed to the reach of the “Horticulture Fact or Fiction” blog series.
