Greenspace Interventions, Stress and Cortisol: A Scoping Review

The review found that 14 out of 18 studies reported reductions in cortisol levels following green space interventions, especially those involving forest bathing and gardening​. However, over 50% of studies lacked proper timing controls or consistent cortisol collection methods, making it difficult to compare results or draw strong conclusions across the field.
